Garrett Ip to Williams. Owen Majit to Bowdoin.
Senior midfielder Garrett Ip and senior attackman/midfielder Owen Majit recently committed to play college lacrosse at two of the nation's most prestigious liberal arts institutions. Ip will attend Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts and Majit has chosen Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. Both schools are members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), which has produced four of the past ten National Champions in NCAA Division III. Ip and Majit become the 27th and 28th CDM players to extend their lacrosse playing careers at the NCAA level.
Sea Kings receive USA Lacrosse All-American Honors
One senior and two juniors earned prestigious USA Lacrosse All-American honors in 2024. Senior face-off specialist Finian Tran and junior midfielder Garrett Ip were named 2024 USA Lacrosse All-Americans. Tran will play collegiate lacrosse at Manhattan College (NCAA D-I). Juniors Garrett Ip and Owen Majit became the program's 19th and 20th USA Lacrosse Academic All-Americans since 2010. With these members of the Class of 2024 and 2025, under the tutelage of coach G.W. Mix, the CDM program has produced 28 All-Americans, 20 Academic All-Americans and placed 28 players in NCAA lacrosse programs.
2024 All-CIF Southern Section Teams Announced
Four Sea Kings, including three underclassmen, were named to the 2024 All-CIF Southern Section Lacrosse Teams.

Senior face-off specialist Finian Tran, junior midfielder Garrett Ip and junior attackman/midfielder Owen Majit were named to the First Team.

Junior defenseman Preston Lee was named to the Second Team.

Garrett Ip wins 2024 Gratzinger Award
Junior midfielder Garrett Ip became the nineteenth recipient of the CDM Lacrosse program's Gratzinger Award. Established in 2006, this award and scholarship is voted on by the players and honors the current player with the most, love, dedication and respect for the game of lacrosse. The recipient should exemplify these traits, along with having the spark, spirit and character to help continue to develop the CDM lacrosse program on campus and within the local community.

Garrett's older brother Logan Ip was the 2022 Gratzinger Award winner. Logan is currently playing college lacrosse at Harvard University.

Kings make 20th straight CIF D-I Appearance
Corona del Mar made its 20th consecutive trip to the CIF Southern Section Division I Boys Lacrosse playoffs. With its First Round 13-4 victory over Crespi, the Sea Kings advanced to the Elite Eight where they fell to eventual CIF Division I Champion St. Margaret's.​
